Finding solace

You wake up in shanghai.
It's 4am and the night sky is still blue.
You gaze within the stars while the wind chills the edges of your face. Breathing it all in, you stand.
Shanghai is a place you've never been, but you're here. Some years ago you were slaving away with a vision of a life that you thought you would never achieve. The city lights illuminate the night blue sky; it's almost yellow. You gaze downward and observe the Yangtze River. The trickling sound is soothing and watching the water flow is comforting. It always flows. Nothing has ever brought you more peace.
