A Poem by Doug

Beyond the twilight dusk

Evil is more than a husk-

In the silent night

In the holy night

In the dark of night

Fools forget the right-

In the silent night

In the holy night

Always at worst when alone

Evil thoughts hold you prone-

In the silent night

In the holy night

Late night rendezvous

But why, for whom?

In the silent night

In the holy night

White stained black

What do we humans lack?

In the silent night

In the holy night

Welcome, welcome the crimson dawn

Are foregone deeds really gone?

In the silent wrong

In the holy right

Black deeds can't remain hidden forever. We know that; but do we live like it?
