Mama's Bones

Mama's Bones

A Poem by Space Enema

Three years in and I've done nothing but grow
How can you say you regret what you've sown?
The past is done and there's no cause to look back
Nothing to glean from what's already known

Mama's bones X2
Death was bitter and sweet
She was the type that was dead on her feet

I could be scarred from the road that I tread
I had a wound from those already dead
I heard a voice from somewhere away
Here are the words that the entity said:

Mama's bones X2
Death was bitter and sweet
She was the type that was dead on her feet
Mama's bones X2
Could've crippled me so
But now her death feels like so long ago
