Torvald and Leonce

Great people no doubt

High class, money making

Typical respectful victorian men

Supporting themselves and their families

 

They treat their kids

Like any good father would

Love, affection and the occasional sweets

 

Their wives...

Are their only fault

they are loving

No doubt about that

But in the wrong ways

 

One sees his wife

As a child, nothing more

Demeaning nicknames

Condesending nature

He loves his wife

Like a father loves a daughter

 

The other almost exactly the same

He loves his wife

But in a much worse way

A priceless piece of artwork

The living Mona Lisa

His wife, the living Mona Lisa

Scornful stares

And nasty comments

Directed at her

Like she had suffered irrepriable damage

Like a collector loves paintings
