Predictions

Predictions

A Poem by Brandon Marleau
"

And this would be the final entry involving my journey.

"

To lose oneself

In the words we knew

Fallen off and spoken least

I lost my love for what I wanted

Haunted by her sultry face.

A cheater,

A demon,

A broken record.

And what I found was special, now

Was driven back so far away.

The stubborn tears that never came

My predictions held such life.

And when they all came true

I laughed in her face

And spent my time

Away from her cold embrace.

I hold them true, in her perdition

But kept away with repetition.
