![]() That Morning CuppaA Poem by Richard M![]() The joys of that first cuppa of a day.![]()
My morning cuppa is such a delight, the perfect beginning to the end of night, if it's to be tea please make it white, but with sugar would be to my dislike. Ahhh, that first cuppa is just the best, better you see than all the rest, in my big Indian mug, curled tight with a book, the news and weather I take a look.
That 'heart starter' at the break of day, when cares and worries heavy weigh, the perfect little 'pick me up' brought to me in a steamy cup. Leaving no concern in its wake, healing all wounds and heartache, setting me up for what lies ahead as I lay reclining in my bed.
But a mid morning coffee made just right with half a pill and a dash of white, the stronger the better you just can't beat that rich aroma always a treat. Another one the afternoon, as is my like, while in the sun the perfect respite, but a tea after dinner is my delight, the perfect beginning to another night.
