Confusion

Confusion

A Poem by Spirit <White Wolf>

The day we met,
I was sure,
that you would be,
another person to help.
But you proved me wrong.
You were there when he hurt me,
and you were there when I was down.
You made my day,
you turned my frown.
I'd never felt so happy,
or so alive,
but you weren't there,
when I cried.
I don't know,
if you'll be there anymore,
as I grow cold.
But I'll always know,
your in my broken heart.
So,
I'll try to not let go,
of those precious memories.
For you gave me something,
I thought I had lost.
Hope.
You made me feel alive.,
in the longest of times.
I felt like a walking corpse,
who made people smile.
I was there for those who needed me,
but had no on of my own.
Until you came along,
and made this cold,
dead body,
feel alive,
once again.
