Voices Within

Voices Within

A Poem by Spirit <White Wolf>

As the rain falls,
memories come in slow and harsh.
Tears form at the edge of my eyes,
and I begin to cry.
As the voices inside my head,
begin to chant,
I grab the razor,
and begin to bleed.
I fall to my knees,
begging the memories,
and voices to stop.
As I sit here and bleed,
my mind goes black.
I lay down on the floor,
in my last hour of death,
I whisper one word,
"Why?"
As my eyes close,
I hear the reply.
"Because your worthless,
and not worth my time."
