Visit of a Goddess

Visit of a Goddess

A Poem by Spirit <White Wolf>

I walked along a lonesome path,
dodging everyone, and turning my back.
When seen,
I curl within,
and just pretend.
There I stayed,
in the darkest part of my mind,
hiding from the light and pain.
Oblivious,
to time and day.
A small light,
blocks my way.
So there I sat,
waiting for my life to end.
A woman came to me,
and held out her hand.
"Take my hand,
and let me help guide you.
There are those out there who need you,
for your not alone.
They need your guidance,
and protection.
Walk back along this path,
and lock away your past.
Your past is behind you,
and your future ahead.
So take my hand,
and make your stand."
I took her hand,
and let the doors to my heart,
open once again.
