Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by Spirit <White Wolf>

Here I sit,

all alone.

Crying out,

wanting someone to come.

The four walls close in on me,

and my solitude grows deep.

I just sit here and wait to die,

and hope to be forgotten.

As I cry,

he comes and sits by my side.

He cradles me close,

and whispers in my ear.

"Don't be afraid.

If you just wait,

someone will come,

and take you away."

I look up to see,

that he is gone.

So here I sit,

all alone.

Awaiting for,

the one who will take me away.

Until then,

I sit in silent solitude.

Sometime in the solitude we find reason to feel not alone. Poem is filled with sadness. Then a whisper of hope. Someone we need to hear our own heart to find comfort. A excellent poem.
