Poem 18: Man's Best Friend

Poem 18: Man's Best Friend

A Poem by Spirit Of Poetry

MAN'S BEST FRIEND

Man's best friend,

A wonderful dog,

You can do lots of things with man's best friend,

Feed them and walk them, take them round the bend,

Man's best friend, lovely for weekends,

You can pet them and they can protect you

from a menacing, threat.

Man's best friend, when will the relationship ever end?

From birth to death, even if they have crap breath.

They'd love to sit on the sofa with you,

Love to snuggle up, even if they're as big as they can be,

Or as small as a newborn pup,

Man's best friend,

That movie you're going to see with a group

Of mates, you can suspend,

Because you've got man's best friend.
