Poem 26: Satisfaction

Satisfaction

Sitting by the fire in your toasty living room, 

Going to the clothing shop, sampling some perfume, 

Going to the bakers, picking up a fresh donut fume, 

Being dehydrated, having the taste of cold, spring water, 

Laying on the beach and you feel the sand becoming hotter, 

Watching your favourite television program at night, 

Turning off the light, making it glow, the room, no longer bright, 

Dancing outside, in the wonderful fresh snow, 

Making some food, putting your hand in the stretchy dough. 

Talking to your best friend while the happiness flows.
