Poem 28: Summer Hills On Summer Days

Poem 28: Summer Hills On Summer Days

A Poem by Spirit Of Poetry

The green hills shine.

The sunlight,

Is so bright,

Everyone is fine,

It was once a beautiful view,

Then everybody sat on it,

But that made it look even better,

Nothing was new.

It was the same old thing.

The grass was warm,

A nice 'warm', to be precise,

To kill your friend,

You would sacrifice,

To sit on this wonderful hill.

The sun is completely revealed,

And as I walk upon,

This wonderful sight,

It is rather large,

There isn't a queue to go in there,

Obviously,

But it deserves one,

As there's only one set of hills like these,

In the whole country,

And everybody, it would please.
