Poem 42: Time (Part I)

Poem 42: Time (Part I)

A Poem by Spirit Of Poetry

Time,

We don't all have time for anything,

We're in a rush to get the doctors', because we're running out of time,

We're late, we're early,

You are a baby, you have no hair,

You are a child, your hair is curly,

I'm late for the meeting,

We're the first ones to get to school,

Once was in nursery, now I'm in university,

Thinking about if time isn't even real,

Whether it is just a conception,

Makes our minds fill with curiosity.

We have to time things right,

Make these cupcakes bright,

Don't under cook them,

Don't overcook them,

You have to get them in the middle,

Set the timer to half an hour,

While the cupcakes are cooking,

I can possibly fit in a hot shower,

Is time even real?

Does anybody know?

Well, what will we do when it is confirmed,

If so...
