Poem 42: Time (Part II)

Poem 42: Time (Part II)

A Poem by Spirit Of Poetry

Time (Part II)

Time is unfortunate,

Time is money,

Time can make you old,

Time can make you funny,

Once born,

Once dead,

Time is good,

Time is bad,

Time is something that we are unsure of,

Is it an illusion?

We are all in states of confusion,

All the scientists and professors out there,

Twiddling their mildly-insane hair,

Working things out,

Day in, day out,

They worked so hard, if you had ever distracted them,

They would give you a clout,

They work their asses off, trying to work on time,

It makes things easy for people,

It makes things difficult for people,

You are late for the test,

You are disqualified,

You have arrived at school too early,

It seems so long, I swear I've cried,

You've moved in to your new house,

You've lived there for seven years,

You are now unsure how long you have lived there for,

You are close to death,

By now your daughter is grown up,

You forgot her name but when you knew it,

Her name was Seth,

And you had another one called Beth,

Then you die,

You fly right up, right into the sky,

You wave Earth, goodbye,

You take a big sigh,

You was a funny guy...
