Blue rose

Blue rose

A Poem by Talesha

Blue beauty,
Lay alone by the sea,
Embracing solitude,
Painful as it can be.

Blue beauty,
Layers so deep,
Such sentimental meaning,
Submerged by weeps.

Life passes and it goes,
Frail petals,by wind they blow.
Such strength to endure pain,
Throbbing stabs in its elongated vein.

To be used for one purpose-
Affection of love,
Goal achieved,diverted focus
Such mistreatment for a gift from above.

Given with a good heart,
Still extraordinary rose-
It's world,must depart.
Blue beauty lay day after day.

Once so pretty,once so pure,
Picked from vine, now death to endure.
Gradually disintegrating,
Human desires,selfish and infuriating.

I loved it!! The last stanza is amazing.

Once so pretty,once so pure,
Picked from vine, now death to endure.
Gradually disintegrating,
Human desires,selfish and infuriating.

You are welcome, Talesha.
I love the imagery and the word play! "Such sentimental meaning, Submerged by weeps" was definitely my favorite line. Thanks for sharing!
