 A Bright Shiny Morning
Our kids will wake up for school
They will get ready for the school bus
I will walk them to the edge of the street
Wave them goodbye and wish them good luck
Towards the house I go
I wonder if your awake and moving around
You have my coffee ready every time I walk back in
We greet each other with a simple kiss

We prepare for the day
My clothes are laid out on the bed
Your clothes are laid out next to mine
You jump into the shower
I jump in right after you are finished
Your vanity is clean, your prep
My vanity is a disaster
I shave and trim
Together we dress and walk towards the door
Our jobs await our arrival
We depart with a simple kiss

Time will only hold our dreams
The goals we have to become who we are
Understanding where we have come from
The difficult moments that part from us
Something that awaits us in the future is great
