Night Of Life, Day Of Death

Night Of Life, Day Of Death

A Poem by VoxEronGVRM
"

One night may pass in under silence before a nightmarishly death coated day.

"
Night falls, light go dead.
Sounds cease to rise.
A premonition.
A single skip of beat.
Before utter collapse.

Midnight.
No one knows.
No one speaks.
Like Earth is glass,
And words will shatter it.

Like a fragile heart.
It flutters in space.
Orbiting the ball.
The last light in the skies.
The one to do end us.

Dawn approaches.
The flames rocketing,
Through our solar system.
Goodbye Mercury.
Goodbye Venus.

We are next.
Doomed to be demolished.
Mayhem on the approach.
Flames engulf Europe.
Spreading over the sphere.

Goodbye North America.
Goodbye Russia.
Spreading it's heat,
Toppling cities.
Shanghai, Tokyo, Miami, Astana.

Gone is Asia.
Gone is Europe.
Gone is North America.
Gone is upper Africa.
South awaits hell.

Just passed noon.
Indonesia lost.
Sudan, Seirre Leone, and Ghana.
They all collapse.
Australia braces with Argentina.

Sydney falls.
Buenas Aries too.
Nothing but one remains.
Antarctica.
But nothing stops the flames.

We are dead.
I am dead.
You are dead.
We are all dead.
All dead.
