Demons Lull

Demons Lull

A Poem by CoffeeVampier

Alone
standing watching the world grow old
standing here breathing
I let go

I watch the world pass its prime
watch the world unwind
Hold on tight not all of us are going to die

See there's no one watching over me
Here on the dark side
here on the other side
where
worlds collide

Here we stand a one man band
We each play our part
some broken at heart
at heart

Not heard living
being alone

standing watching the world grow old
standing here I continue breathing

their frighting agents you and me
cant you see they want us to conform
standing here like a lifeless drone
standing as the resistance
Fighting for the innocent
