Sleep Paralysis

Sleep Paralysis

A Poem by CoffeeVampier

My minds eclipsed

Terror  drips

And touches my lips

I’m in my bed

Wish I could leave

No one will hear me

I can’t even scream

My eyes are open

The horrors in view

It says, I see you

Someone please help

This triggers at my fear

It brings me to tears

My chest is heavy

Like led in the sea

What evil is this on top of me?

It sits on my chest

It’s an incubus

My memory jolted

This is worst then being haunted

No its nothing I wanted

Yes I have been there too

At least then you can flee

At least then i could defend me

My senses feel danger

The seconds pass

I hope this thing will not last

I hear nothing

not even static

not even the rain

Oh except for something calling my name

My eyes move to the shadows

a demon a stare

she laughs at me without a care

for now I am stuck

in this living hell

with things around me

with two heads and a tail

ones at my feet

something’s under my sheets

oh wouldn’t it be neat

if I could stand on my feet
