Unmade

Unmade

A Poem by Paige Pino

Split me apart

turn me into atoms

into star dust

let the wind      carry             me          away

unthinking, unfeeling

and yet more alive than i’ve ever been before

let me spread accross the e a r t h

across           the                  sky

across the entire universe until nothing

is left   untouched by          the         pieces of     what i used to be

                              and maybe one day         my molecules will meet again

they’ll come back together

and the will rearrange themselves into me

into the me that i’ve always been

                                                            that i’ve always meant to be but never knew how to become
