AgainA Poem by QuinnGuess who's heartbrokenOnce more I’m here Four nights running and many before Sat up thinking, crying and
drinking, drinking Drinking enough to put my mind
at ease To mellow the feeling inside
of me I feel awful My head hurts and my eyes are
tired But this is all I’ve got, all
I can think, think Think isn’t the right word,
maybe obsess? It’s really got to me I must
confess It was me though I check back at the texts once
more And then all the pain hits me
again, again Again I’m on the floor crying,
aching Curled up, my body sighing and
shaking It’s five am F**k, I let it happen again Cigarettes smoked, cheap wine
drunk my mind gone, gone Gone far away along with my
belief I need to redefine love
through my grief © 2017 QuinnFeatured Review
