A Poem by Starrweaver
"

For someone very special to me that I lost long ago.

"

From the moment that I heard your voice,

I felt my search, at last, had ended.
But then the twist of Fate's hand, rewove our life threads,
And our paths were set upon separate ways.

At times my life has felt all spun about,
Lost in a darkness with no way out, feeling alone.
But I found that thinking of you could get me through,

Stumbling on to find my way, your memory I held on to.

Seeking the security, the safe harbor ahead,
I'd remember your silent strength and continue on.
It's been over two decades since our roads parted ways,

Though the image is faded, you're still there in my heart.

Those treasured moments shared, they offer hope,
Carefree days, golden moments along the silvery lane of life.

Now, when I've time to reflect upon the path I've traveled,

I wonder, at how you faired, upon your own journey.

Perhaps, someday, if Fate is kind,
Our life threads may once more come together...
