Thinking of You

Thinking of You

A Poem by Starrweaver

There are times when the days grow unending,

The tensions of life grow too heavy to bear.
When I'm all tied up with worry and doubt,

It's during these times I wish you were here.

When I get frightened and feel so confused,

I think of you and wonder what you'd do.

I remember your smile, the laughter in your eyes,
It's almost like your here, but when I look around - your not.

Yet I feel different, more positive and self assured.
I feel your understanding, the calming moments we shared,
Even after all these years, the memories are still strong.
Yet I wonder if it isn't more than that, at times.

The days can still be trying, while chaos reigns around me,

But I have a secret strength, feeling you close at my side.
You get me through it all, you are here, though unseen.

If only things were different, but I can't unravel time.

I know that when dark days come, you'll stand by me.
In sunshine or rain, in my mind's eye, I see you.
When my journey's over, you'll be waiting for me.

What we shared is so strong, nothing can end it.

How beautiful, and sad.
Love's eternity is reflected on your bitter emotions, witch many of us share.
Great great poem.
