Night

Night

A Poem by StarryNights

Snow-capped mountains glaze in my sight
Foggy mist of a revealing night
Damp windows become the vision impaired
Darkness is uplifted with a single light

Tires screech the road in glee
Snow in night like a sun not able to shine bright
Street lights orange for you to see

As shadows cast as shadows do
The evening blue hangs deeply true
The hand that wipes away condense also takes the tears

One slip leads to a long-term trip
Stars tonight shall say my goodnight
