The pen in my hand is the key to my soul and the piece of paper with all the marks are the scars I carry from my deep dark past
Let my words manifest your heart and bring tears to your eyes and joy to your life
Let each metaphor leave a mark within your cold and unconscious brain
Let each simile make you smile and prance up and down like you're a itty bitty toddler
Let each idiom make you laugh as if you've just heard the corniest joke
Because when I touch pen to paper I pour out my soul
Every whimper fear and cry
Every smile laugh and sigh
I live to leave a emotional foot print on your heart
So enjoy and let this not be the end but a beginning to a new story
