Writing Away

I cry for you
I hide my tears from you
I cry myself to sleep
I need comfort from you
But I hide everything in my heart

The thought
Of never being together
It breaks my heart
The thought
Of never seeing you
It makes me die inside

Why do I have to love you
Why do you have to love me
Why must everything be so difficult
Why must everything be so complicated

I want to hold your face
I want to hold your hand
I want to see you
I want to be with you

 

As I sit here
Writing a poem
Writing away my feelings and sufferings
That I could never tell you
Not for the moment
Hoping that we will be together forever
But impossible
