An Angel's Dance

An Angel's Dance

A Poem by Seductively Sentimental

"

I see the pain, I see the passion

Through her dance I see her soul.

Her every step, in rhythmic fashion

In her stance a story's told

She's curled up tight, no muscle moving

Silence echos from the walls

And then begins the music's singing...

Feeling now returns the call

Beneath the veil with graceful motion

she succumbs to letting go.

I'm hypnotized by her emotion,

lost into the music's flow.

Removing all that used to hide her,

Speaking life without a word

With intuition there to guide her

from the dark a voice is heard.

What she has is what she treasures

Why she cries, no one knows

Like a bird, she spreads her feathers

Flies to where no sorrow goes.
