Heaven

Heaven

A Poem by Steve H
"

Wrote this after seeing a competition on here, rather inspiring topic.

"

A world in which I’ll never want
Or even know desire.
Contentedness and peace
It fills my soul, raises me higher.

Ill never see a frown, or anger,
Show unhappy face.
Ill never witness any pain
Not while I’m in this place.

Perfect corridors end in white
And beings that are purely light
Makes no difference day or night
Time is but a whisper

Surrounded by the ones I love
Observe the living from above
I smile and know that I am home
I now with life’s creator roam

While I say your idea of a paradise is quite typical, what I like about this is the way you described it in your own way. Very inspiring. These kinds of poems make me hopeful, and believe more that somewhere above, there really is a place so perfect, and that someday, I'll be there too. Great Job.

Keep Writing. ^___^
