False Hope Syndrome

It is far easier to wish than to become; easier to fantasize than to act. It is very common to find young people and wannabe entrepreneurs suffering from False Hope Syndrome (FHS).

False Hope Syndrome (FHS) is a delusion that life will bring every dream and wish to reality (with laborious laxity, of course). Such Illusions include that Life is rosy; Government will provide for welfare and jobs, social amenities; Life will be so luxurious and fulfilling with Government and Divine provisions.

Granted!

Thinking that way could be momentarily relieving and comforting but remaining in such idly wishes brings cardiac arrhythmias and other sickness, resulting in the FH syndrome.

To set goals and inspire oneself to achieve it is to dream.

But there is a thin line between false hopefulness and transformational dreaming. One inspires action, putting ability and realization of the dream in the hands of another person and the other puts the realization in your hand. The former is FHS, while the latter is Transformational Dreaming (TD) �" the kind that produces results and synonymous with Entrepreneurship.

Fantasies are good, very good, but must be relished through the lens of actionable reality.

The symptoms of FHS include: Chronic expectancy, Metastatic complaining and Excuse-ocephalus, Dependency, Atrophy of innate potentials, Beggarliness or debto-shiokor, etc.

I bet you know so many more.

The difference between Aspire and Inspire is Position. The former is from an individual to external environment and the latter is from the external environment to the individual.

In aspire-ing, you yield to become. You yield your time, comfort, resources and your entirety to become what you see about you. In inspire-ing, you receive to become. You receive encouragement, teaching, insights, thought, impartation and morale aid to become.

To become?

No! Inspiration does not stand alone. It rather moves you to action. It drives your body, wakes you from wishful thinking and bathes you with transformational dreaming.

Nothing happens until YOU do something.

Be inspired to go beyond borders and limits. Nobody can stop you. That’s the way God has made it.

Go. Go. Go and don’t stop till a thousand persons feel your Legendary.
