You are my something

You are my something

A Poem by Nichole Marie
"

Logic flirtation

"

Turn the lights down and turn the music up and lay me against your chest. I want to hear the blood pulse through your veins and feel the the thump of your heart, just to know you're real. I know that we will never equal eachother, but I want to say that I tried. You're something I want even if  your piece doesn't fit right into this puzzle that I'm forcing you in. Even still, I'll find a puzzle for you to fit into.

I don't know what to think. You have me excited, but I can't be fooled. I know the truth behind our feelings but I've never been more willing to cave in. I want nothing special, I need nothing permanent or seriuos. I just need you no as whatever I need you to be in the moment that I need it.

You are my darling

You are my friend

You are my hero

You are my trend

You are not everything

but you are my something.
