Our Secret Place..

Our Secret Place..

A Poem by Nely Amorim

Our Secret Place

This dappled light, reflecting on your skin
Warms my heart and mind as i stroke your face

Soft breeze stirring the leaves above
each spent one drifting slowly down around us

Rest my head on your chest, the beat arouses me
Close my eyes, ecstasy, do you know what you do to me?
I'm captivated, hypnotised in this dream of you
safely, secure in the warmth of your heart

Wind whispers on my skin, sending shivers
like the sweetness of your warm breath at my lips
The chatter of birds unseen a lullaby from nature
as your voice speaks soft words to my heart

Forrest surrounds us, a fortress safe
impeneterable against envy and haters
Nothing in life is easy or free,
we fight for that we cherish and need

Legs entwined as i lay in the cocoon of your arms
Pressed so close to you, where do i start, where do you end?
I'm mindlessly filled with thoughts of my desire
for you and your skin, your body, your fire.

The wind blows a warm warning of intruders and yet
they are welcomed with smiles and we don't forget
Secret smiles as we straighten up for the greet
knowing there will be other times and just as sweet...

I'm captivated, hypnotized in this dream of you
safely, secure in the warmth of your heart -- This is truly beautiful and oh so very eloquent. Nice work.
Very sweetly written.
