Bingle Jells

Bingle Jells

A Poem by Mira Mayflynn
"

Jingle Bells with a funny twist!

"
A day or two ago,
I thought I'd take a ride,
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side;
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
We got into a drifted bank,
And then we got up sot.

Oh, Jingle bells, Jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh
"Wait! That's not how it happened!" A kid cried

Crashing as we go
We are now well on our way
Tomorrow sun will glow
Hope not like today. Boom Boom
I will ride the swings
Birds will fix their wings
But now we're stuck it this mud swamp
And have to wait 'til Spring

Ah, Trouble calls, trouble calls
Trouble stay away
Oh, I'm totally done riding
In a one-horse open sleigh, OK?
Trouble calls, trouble calls,
Trouble stay away
Oh, It a miracle I survived
In a one-horse open sleigh.
