A fallen Angel

A fallen Angel

A Poem by Strangeness
"

I know I'm not great but I just like to use this as a way to get through things, this is my first poem ever so I don't mind about the reviews or ratings.

"
Out of the night that is my cloak,
Falling still, before my wings had broke.
Once I was a soaring star,
I never thought I'd fall so far.

A fallen Angel had crashed to Earth
Lost again from my right of birth,
My halo gone and my wings shattered
I lay in blood my last hopes scattered.

I cried alone with my secret tears
Telling no one of my pain filled fears.
Soon my sobbing turned to rage
Like a beast released from its cage.

Till she was there, by my side
Knowing then that I had cried.
She laughed and offered a firm hand
Knowing already that I could once more stand.

I never fixed my shattered wings
Nor did I rejoin the eternal kings.
We walked together from my soaring skies
Knowing then I didn't need wings to rise.
