(She breathes in)

She breathes in, coughing, her throat tickled roughly by the bone fragments that were sent up in smoke, to choke and bring her down.
Huddling in on herself, her eyes don't swell as she recognizes the crippling tremor in her chest. She has been beaten down, and finally is too broken to stand again.
