Winter's Bite

Wanted to maybe do a fantasy series thing with candy. Leave your thoughts, it could be a pretty wonderful journey. Oh, and what flavors come to your mind?

It was a thick candy,
So sour it'd dry your mouth,
Then bursts like a thin wafer,
Gushing through with light airy,
Taste of cold as ice.
