Queen of Demure

Queen of Demure

A Poem by Studioispirato
"

This poem touches on peoples uncanny ability to to be mean to the ones they love and the devious side of the one being hurt

"

I’m a horrible person

That’s what she said,

Just a version

Of what’s in her head

Consider the source

So innocent and pure,

It’s what you’d expect, of course

From the queen of demure…

I’m no Valentino

I don’t do fashion,

Or Marlin Brando

Lights, camera, action

Maybe Clark Gable

Or Mr. Bogart,

Or an ancient fable

Ready for a new start

I have desires

Both old and new,

Spit shined tires

I know what to do

Forgive, forget, Life is full of misfortune.

A lesson from The Godfather®

Served her own potion
