Better Off Dead

I am better off dead, you wouldn't miss me anyway

A lot of times I think I’d be better off dead.

I know it’s the truth cause I’m fucked in the head.

I know you’d be so much better then too,

You could do everything you’ve ever wanted to do.

 

Don’t worry about silly little me, I’ll be fine,

I whisper as cut another deep red line.

You don’t even want to know anyway,

You don’t need me though it’s sad to say.

 

You could just let me stay here and die,

It wouldn’t be your fault and you wouldn’t have to lie.

It’s all going according to the plan,

I’ll hang myself from the ceiling fan.

 

Maybe I’ll down all the sleeping pills,

Electricity is fun because it kills.

I’d do it as you went to bed,

In the morning you’d wake to find me dead.

 

It’s okay you don’t have to be sorry or sad,

Just for one day in all black you’d be clad.

It’s better this way, I need you to trust me,

I don’t want to hurt you anymore, can’t you see?

 

So as I shed just one last tear,

I write you this final goodbye, my dear.

I know that I won’t be missed,

Once by death I have been kissed.

Oh sweet girl this is so sad, please never do any of this to yourself, you may not no it now but you are special and your life has purpose. You will walk out of the darkness and the light will fill you and within that light you will find new life. What you feel now will not be the you in the future so hang on and don't let go.
