Sail to The Moon

Sail to The Moon

A Poem by Sujash I. Purna

Times we lived in hiding ourselves

Times we lived like lazy elves

Who know tricks but hardly use

For the fear of making abuse

But thus shall we live our days

Or put behind our strait-laces?

And embark on the thing in vogue

That has and perhaps will make us good blokes

Then my friend, we will soon

Be daring to sail to the moon!

I really like the last line. Good one!

I could use a sailboat to the moon and farther. Living like a lazy elves don't sound so bad either. I like the gentle and kind feel of this poem. A very good ending to a excellent poem. Thank you.

Nothing is impossible, but everything is possible if you try! Loved this and yes I would like to sail to the moon! Beautiful poem!
