Me

Me

A Poem by Sumo

I miss seeing your smiling face
The way you used to move around this place

I miss hearing your laughter
The way you were before each disaster

I miss the Joy that used to be inside
the peace that you used to provide

I miss the happiness we once had
We used to keep it, through good and bad

I miss the strength we had to endure all
The ability to prevent every fall

I miss knowing who we were
Life as we knew it, now just a blur

What I miss, is me.
