As Our Bodies burned

As Our Bodies burned

A Poem by Destiny
"

*wink*

"

It was over

Your walls came tumbling down

And you were free somehow

Flying on the passion of sleepless nights

Raising your voice and squeezing so tight

It was magic

The flames licked at my seams

And my dreams dared to come true

Only with you

Clenching fists as bodies rocked

But we couldn’t stop

The sparks left marks on my smoldering skin

And sheets caught fire

We weren’t concerned

We clung to each other

As our bodies burned

Very good one. Short, sexy, and tied together really well.

Wow. That was nice and hot. I loved "the flames licked at my seams", and the whole thing tied together great for the ending being the title. Well done.

I like this, short, detailed, and explicit. Two people enjoying one of the simple pleasures of life. Using the title as the last line was done perfectly. You wrote so little but said so much. "Steamy stuff" indeed.
