Hallways and Hangmen

Hallways and Hangmen

A Poem by Audrey Wynters
"

A song I wrote inspired by my favorite video game, Silent Hill 2.

"
Please don't leave me behind
Cause I won't wait forever for you
When I die, I'll be hard to find
But that is something you must do

I'm waiting here, in a place
Where every door is death
And all I want, is to see your face
But I fear you'll steal my breath again
And even now as her shadow walks by
As your sweet lights fading
All the water in this well runs dry
And I'm still waiting

Please don't leave me behind
Cause I won't wait forever for you
When I die, I'll be hard to find
But that is something you must do

Now I understand if you hate me
For what I did to you
But please don't go so hastily
After all that we've been through
And though this scene is a sad one at best
Your bedside tears seem hollow
And all the shadows that lay me to rest
In this dream you follow

Please don't leave me behind
Cause I won't wait forever for you
When I die, I'll be hard to find
But that is something you must do

I love to read and write and have been actively doing both since I was a little girl. I dream of the day I might see my writing in print so I can turn to someone and say "I wrote that". I love the.. more..
