Faery Love

Faery Love

A Poem by Mariana Silva

Love that can take flight And leave you asking for more.

Sing to me simple words of praise,

Allow me to do as I please whenever it suits me.

Bring to me, your hopes and dreams,

And in return, you shall have all of my heart and soul.

A life of pleasure is what I lead.

No regards for consequences

When I have so much more to do and say, wrong.

Oh, the fun and enjoyment I have found in this chase.

Especially in the morning when its your smile I see

First. All this passion is ripping me at the seams.

I’m not lying, this is from the depths of my soul.

“Stay with me forever,” you may plead

But I dare not put you at the mercy of those consequences.

For you and me, forever is far too long!

Love to read and write, so much in fact, there isn't a place where my journal and pen have not followed me because you never know when something will spring forth to be written. Not a prodigy but some.. more..

Honest Honest
