Anna Karina

Anna Karina

A Poem by Sorry Infamous
"

"(I can't understand) why people have all decided to spoil me. What have I done? Each of us has skeletons in his soul" - Anna Karina

"

Tell me,
when oaths
drag like anchors
what I am suppose to do with
the torrid tiny moments
when your timid touch lingers
just two clock ticks longer
than is proper and
all those promises parish
in a perfect gaze
the color of a fresh puddle.

My heart is pierced!

I crave your pout.

your calm cool chuckle,
Your strong hands caressing
the crook of my spine
and your cleverly timed
little kisses
that taste like cocaine.

I am sinking,
in your sordid whispers.

I am shackled in cruel silver.

My covenant is an anvil

It will shame us.

There is such a wild dance of words and thoughts here... a heart craving more of the lover... yet someone the shadows come to dance as well... So much power and passion mingled perfectly.

Holy hell girl, this is amazing. You have an uncanny underlying yet blatantly so ..sexualness in a lot of your writing.
This line:
I am shackled in cruel silver
Is brilliant!

The assonance you used, also cool.
The 2 end lines.....make me envious I didn't write them. More writers should end on a bang. You always do.

I love your work.

I never ever read that book but your poem has me intrigued

Your strong hands caressing
the crook of my spine
and your cleverly timed
little kisses
that taste like cocaine.

Sounds more like obsession than love.

Thank-you! It is worth the read when you have time.
My covenant is an anvil
It will shame us. -- beautiful lines, and a perfect ending to this piece!

I like the idea of this one, the concept of Anna Karina comes across nicely. You use some very beautiful language and imagery that speaks to the emotion and overall texture of the piece in general. Nicely done...look forward to reading more.
