The Night Never Looked so Nice

The Night Never Looked so Nice

A Poem by Sorry Infamous

I left my safe place behind

My living arms lay limp

Running has always been my remedy

Look on your heart

I left you lipstick

Like I did on your floor

When my face hit the boards

Understand until it's over

It can't be much more

Forever my first

That I cut down for control

It's the hurt you hunger for, anyways

Lust for the lies I've told

Like you licked the blood from my lips

It's only skin, dear

Pain is the profit

To bring new meaning to being alone

Oh, you look so faithful as you fall…

This is really sweet yet sour,
"Oh you look so faithful as you fall"

Very catchy to read I enjoyed it!

now that is some powerful wording... trying to walk away from love is hard even if it is bad for you... you again just stunned my with your creative touch that smacked me in the face with emotions.

Your writing is profoundly bittersweet (running has always been my remedy), and there is an ache in your words, in the planned pain of leaving and watching as love comes undone... The irony in your title almost haunts the reader... This is so extraordinary!
