Fairy Tale

Its been a while since I've felt this feeling. I know life isn't a fairy tale, but somehow you make it feel like one.

If you had seven midget friends,
and your skin was quite pale
Then you'd be the snow white
in my own fairy tale...

If your hair hung down metres
as you sat in your tower
If you were waiting for ur prince
I wouldn't give you an hour

If your 2 step sisters were ugly
and i found your lost shoe
Then would there be a chance
you'd be my cindarella too...?

If i was a monster
and you were breath-taking at least
Would you then be my beauty
and I'd be your beast?

But i know lifes not a fairy tale
Its not made of just fun...
But if you were my princess,
Then it would feel like one.

I will admit that I'm normally the queen douchebag championing the hatred of rhyme in love poetry, yet you have taken juvenile rhythm patterns and rhyme schemes and brought them back to a pure, exciting state. Somehow patterns that I would normally consider trite, here work in perfect harmony to create your fairy tale picture.

I think this is very sweet, and romantic in the puppy-love sense. You made me smile tonight sir, and I hope whichever princess gets this sees it for what it's worth. :)
