Fading Feelings

Fading Feelings

A Poem by Frank Purcell
"

When at the start you always think its love, but the you 'smell the roses'.

"
How long has this love been showing?
But now its started slowing
Cant help it if its stopped its flowing
A chunk of my hearts gone - shes owing

My heads been spining, whats going on?
This has been happening for way to long!
Starting to realise, that somethings wrong
And maybe, just maybe, my hearts not 'fong-kong'

In my head this 'love' was ringing
With all the joy and hate its bringing
Most times im crying, but something im singing
On the edge my mind is swinging

And now on and off its started blinking
And these doubts - they got me thinking

I know its you thats made me realise
My love-life's mainly filled with lies
Was almost convinced you were a special girl
Not just another female messing up my world

In the future, I'll be more cautious
And make sure i dont get nauseous
If you were my friend then you would know
Theres a time to come, and a time to go

"Love is luck and good timing". I find this line so unfortunate yet true. Thank you for the review Coyote, means a lot.

A poem that open the door to many questions. I believe better to have many dances then to wish to. Love is luck and good timing. Need someone on the same road and the same desire. I like the ending line.
"Theres a time to come, and a time to go"
Thank you for the outstanding poem.
