Living Life

Living Life

A Poem by Frank Purcell
"

My own attempt at something simlar to a Lil' Wayne rap mix.

"
Im trapped in the rhythm, tryna be different from the same
Im the coach and the captain, a playa in the game
Dont be fooled by the money, the b*****s or the booze
If u think this' reality, then u jus' one of them fools

They told me to be happy, i had 2 do it on my own
They told me i would never, they told me to go home
But f**k them, i told them! And here i am today
Coach, playa, an' the captain, 'cause im owning this game

They thought i was ok; they tried to show me how to do it
They starting thinking i was good, but i already knew it
Now i seem like the best, and im better than i seem
And in another year, ill be f*****g running this scene

I only took one advice, i never took two
they said do what makes u happy, thats why im doing you
'n i've never needed help, never popped a damn pill
im at the top of the game, an' im leading by example

And now im f*****g happy, 'cause i did it on my own
they told me i would never, but now Hollywood's my home
'Cause f**k them, i told them! And here i am today
I'm trapped in my rhythm, but im different from the same!
