Edit Me

A Poem by Frank Purcell

You kill me, You break me
You get the glue
And try remake me.

I change each day, As you chip away
And the real me
Starts to fade.

sounds familiar from a personal point of view~ it has a heartbreaking pulse~ your softly killing poem reminds me of a quote by John trudell that addresses the difference between unity and balance~ it applies to both global and personal relations~

"everything is different in this reality...no two things are exactly like....
some people look for unity in these differences.....maybe....its time to look for balance with these differences.....unity implies someone has to change for some ones else....balance is the reality of working with the differences as they are and letting the changes occur in the balancing...quarreling and arguing are always out of balance...."

the greatest lie ever told to this Kitty was this "I will never try to drill a hole in your personality and insert myself" yeah right
truth is~very few individuals are evolved enough and secure enough to be able to accept and love another unconditionally for who they are without the slightest hint of a need to rearrange their pieces to fit their own desires~
