Tourniquet

Tourniquet

A Poem by SweeTLoU

Self inflicted wounds leave scars that never fade
Behind your eyes you agonize
Over analyzing yesterday
Its like Looking for comfort with a razor blade
The deeper you cut
the more you'll see
The more you look back
The more you bleed
Searching for a former destination
Rear view mirror exsanguination
Letting go of resentment doesn't mean you forget
But you'll find the present is your tourniquet
